Celebrating International Women's Day π
Witnessing and celebrating other women's stories can be a major source of inspiration and encouragement for us, especially during volatile and uncertain times...
In honour of International Women's Day, I'm amplifying the recently shared stories of four brilliant women I've come to know through Coralus:
Behi Shafiei founder of Weath Bridge Consulting who has co-written this new book The Making of HERstory: The Collective Voice of Influential, Widespread & Legendary Women. Behi is an unwavering light and force for good. This short LinkedIn video will give you a feel for Behi and her mission as well as give you more links to the book - just ordered my copy!
Bryn Bamber, founder of More Feminist Millionaires, who is interviewed by Melissa Kaye in her Elev8 Villages podcast: Somatics, Belonging, and the Nervous Systemβs Path Back Home. It's such a powerful conversation highlighting Bryn's expertise as a somatic coach and Melissa's consummate interviewing skills. Melissa's mission as founder of Elev8 Villages is also super inspiring - to build tiny home villages for youth aging out of foster care. Bryn happens to be my neighbour and we very much enjoy walking together.
Dale Allen, Executive Coach and Co-Founder of ConsciousLead Life just released this Tedx Talk: Reconnecting with the Gift of Return. Dale's joy and courage in this talk is so inspiring and authentic to who she is in real life... and her dance moves are the icing on the cake!
Enjoy!
Warmly, Milisa
PS As you may know, I always think of my grandmother Mildred Maclean on IWD, as she was born on this day, 115 years ago - actually the same day as the very first IWD. If you want some extra inspiration, I've shared about her many times on my blog - for example, here IWD2024 and here are more.)
