Have You Noticed Your Breathing Lately?
One of the simplest and most profound ways that we can manage our physical energy is to manage our breathing. Breathing is a tool that we always carry in our tool box. I am sure this is not news to you: we hear exhortations to "breathe" everywhere, in yoga, meditation, mindfulness training, relaxation workshops.
Managing Energy Not Time - Refuelling at the Dog Park
This is my dog, Raska. (She is named after the Ganaraska River and Forest near our cottage). Raska is partly responsible for helping manage my energy, and not my time, and thus helps me be more "sustainable".
How Well Do You Know Your Big Toe?
How well do you know your big toe? This summer I want to get to know my big right toe a lot better. I know this sounds odd, so I will explain.
An Announcement and a Tip about Goal-Setting
I am delighted to announce that the content that I am featuring on this blog site will also be available as blog posts on three other related sites, sites which are connected to a fabulous community resource for parents here in Ontario.

When I wasn’t down there I remember being outside playing in the woods in our backyard, making forts or exploring the ravine or river. A Feast of Strengths This Season
I wonder what would it be like if, this holiday, along with our turkey, we all sat down to a feast of strengths cooked up by every person around the table? I had the privilege of attending the International Coach Federation's Annual Conference this Fall in Fort Worth, Texas.

Who is Milisa Burns?
This is a story of a little girl who could be anything she wanted to be. The world was her oyster! She had choices and the utmost love and support of her family and friends.
